Twitch recruits Knight
Live streaming service, Twitch has appointed Constance Knight as VP, Global Creators.
Most recently Knight was the Global Head of Video Curation, Short Form Content at Instagram where she drove curation strategy, advised on product and partnership development, and managed the editorial team for Facebook’s newly launched video platform, Instagram Reels.
Prior to Instagram, she spent over 8 years at Youtube where she was responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives for content creators and media partners across multiple content verticals and communities at YouTube. Before transitioning into digital media, Constance was VP and Head of Home Entertainment at Viacom’s BET Networks. Constance began her professional career in financial services at Credit Suisse in NYC and Edinburgh Fund Managers in Edinburgh, Scotland and London, England.
Ogilvy makes two promotions
Integrated creative network, Ogilvy UK has promoted Rahul Titus to Head of Influence across UK & EMEA and Victoria Day to UK Managing Director for Advertising.
In his new role, Titus will be in charge of setting the strategic direction of the Ogilvy influence proposition across the UK and EMEA. He will help unlock the best of Ogilvy’s talent through creative-first, data-driven influencer campaigns covering the full spectrum from celebrities all the way to micro-influencers.
Before joining Ogilvy, Titus set up and ran MediaCom’s global influencer offering and has also served as Director of Social Talent at the YMU Group (formerly James Grant) looking after some of the world’s leading social-first talent.
Day previously held the role of Managing Partner & Head of Account Management at Ogilvy. Victoria joined Ogilvy in 2018, as MP on the flagship Boots account, later adding the award winning Sipsmith, and Post Office accounts to her portfolio. In 2019, Day took on the additional role of Head of Account Management where she has been a driving force behind the roll out of training and D&I initiatives. Most recently, she was also instrumental in the restructure of the department, bringing teams from across the business together to create the Cannes-winning Relate campaign, this year’s Sipsmith campaign for Wimbledon and helping challenger brand Save Money Cut Carbon grow.
Prior to joining Ogilvy Day worked at Saatchi & Saatchi, FCB Inferno, Elvis and adam&eveDDB running, amongst other things, the Waitrose, Google and Halifax accounts where she and the team created multiple award winning, and highly effective, creative campaigns.
Wigley to lead Merkle’s analytics practice
Data-driven customer experience management (CXM) company, Merkle UK has appointed Dan Wigley to lead its combined UK analytics practice.
Wigley joined Dentsu over eight years ago, and since then he has successfully scaled a business unit from a standing start to an annual income of £8.2m, covering a range of diverse products including web analytics, website optimisation (CRO), data engineering, data science, feeds and structure data, dynamic creative and CRM in his role of managing director of data and technology. His extensive experience has driven results spanning multiple industries, having previously worked with the likes of NBrown, PureGym, Barratt Homes and Next.
Uberall appoints two Vice Presidents
‘Near Me’ Customer Experience (NMCX) platform, Uberall has announced the appointment of two experienced, top level leaders to leverage Uberall’s global strategy.
Veronika Gorkina will be driving Go to Market operations strategy as the new Vice President GTM Strategy & Operations, and Laurence Capdeville will focus on taking Uberall’s already strong customer success programme to the next level as Vice President of Customer Success.
Gorkina has more than 10 years of operational management experience. She was previously at Media Math, an ad-tech firm, and Forter, an e-commerce fraud prevention company, which achieved unicorn status last fall with a valuation of $3 billion. As one of Forter’s first employees, Gorkina helped double revenue in less than a year, building the global operation team from scratch, and helping to scale the company.
Capdeville has 15-years’ experience with seven of them in the finance industry, having worked at Citigroup Inc., an American multinational investment bank. A highly experienced, London-based tech leader, Capdeville transitioned to the tech space in 2012, and has worked with client-facing teams at ad tech company, AppNexus (now Xander, valued at $1.6bn) as Director, Product Solutions & Professional Services, and most recently as the Global Head of Customer Success at Via, a unicorn in the mobility space, valued at $2.25bn after its latest funding round in March.
Magel joins Samba TV
Omniscreen advertising and analytics company, Samba TV has announced that Kris Magel has joined the company as Vice President and Head of Agency Development.
With nearly three decades in the media and advertising industry, Magel has a deep understanding of the application of analytics, data, and innovation to media, which will be crucial in helping agencies capture the value of first-party data that will help advertisers better understand their performance.
He arrives at Samba TV from Dentsu, where he was President of Media Clients, responsible for building bespoke cross-media solutions for existing and prospective brand clients.
Hootsuite welcomes Lower
Social media management company, Hootsuite has appointed Maggie Lower as Chief Marketing Officer.
With a marketing career spanning more than two decades, across various industries including financial services, staffing and technology, Lower has established herself as an exceptional business and thought leader.
Prior to joining Hootsuite, Lower was the Global Chief Marketing Officer at Cision, the first Chief Marketing Officer at TrueBlue, has held marketing leadership roles at Alight and Aon Hewitt, and spent 15 years at Bank of America, building world class marketing teams.
Amobee appoints new CEO
Global leader in advertising technology, Amobee has announced that Nick Brien has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.
Most recently, Brien was Chief Executive Officer of The Americas for Dentsu International, leading 15,000 people across 40 operating units that served some of the world’s largest advertisers, such as Microsoft, Intel, General Motors, Anheuser-Busch, P&G and American Express.

SYZYGY promotes Brown
WPP’s data and digital strategy agency, SYZYGY has promoted Director of Media Matt Brown to a newly created dual role – Commercial Director of the UK and Managing Director of its US office.
Bown’s role as US Managing Director will focus on further developing SYZYGY’s existing North American proposition and expertise, building its reputation as a market-leading digital strategy specialist.
Alongside supporting the growth of existing clients in the region, he will champion SYZYGY’s deep expertise in using data to grow eCommerce brands. He will also lead new business, enabling US companies to successfully enter the European market.
TeamSnap adds new CFO and VP of Product
Sports management and communication software company, TeamSnap has announced the hiring of two new leadership team members: Joyce Bell as the new Chief Financial Officer and Michael Fox as VP of Product & Design.
Bell will oversee the company’s rapid growth and financial goals as it invests in the operational and process maturity to support the increased scale of the business and its expanding user base. Bell previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at PrismHR and Brand Networks, leading private equity-backed software firms.
Throughout her career, Bell has managed company resources in a way that prioritizes growth and scale. Bell has been a member of Financial Executives International (FEI) since 2002, has served on its board, and is a member of its academic relations committee. She is also a founding steering committee member of the CFO Leadership Council, which provides educational and networking events for senior finance professionals. Bell serves on the Board of Advisors for the Huntington YMCA.
Fox has a 20+ year technology career spanning multiple startups and enterprises in the B2B SaaS, mobile, security, fintech, machine learning, virtualization, and cloud industries. He also has a track record of successfully managing global teams across product management, product marketing, technical sales, engineering, and technical writing. Fox has managed product portfolios with over $300 million in revenue and has had success within numerous public alliances and joint ventures, including with companies such as VMware, Goldman Sachs and Verizon.
Making Science hires Clark
eCommerce and digital transformation platform, Making Science has announced that Nicola Clark has been hired as the first-ever Vice President U.S.
Clark will be responsible for strategic account management, agency growth, and client success at Making Science. She formerly worked as Senior e-commerce Director for Occidental Hotels and Resorts, where she spearheaded the company’s e-commerce strategy for the portfolio of hotels throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico. While there, she also created and deployed innovative business plans and digital marketing campaigns to generate sales through SEM, affiliate marketing, email marketing, and multi-channel exposure.
Clark most recently served as the founder and Managing Director of Encompass Consulting, Inc., an e-commerce consultation service specializing in planning initiatives for hotels and resorts. She also spent 11 years at Hilton Worldwide in eCommerce roles.
Hughes joins What’s Possible Group
Newly launched marketing group, What’s Possible Group has announced David Hughes as Managing Director of the What’s Possible Creative Studio.
Hughes is an expert in TV, video, storytelling and digital media and has many years of experience using creative production and technology to help clients successfully navigate the digital commerce revolution.
At Hogarth Worldwide, Hughes helped scale the organisation from 100 to 1000 employees in London and 3000 globally over ten years, expanding the business from its heritage in decoupled production to incorporate TV production, design, content, and social activation. He also set up client studios for the likes of TJX and content solutions for Vodafone. Hughes has held several senior industry roles, including International Managing Partner at Proximity. He was responsible for teams in 26 markets and won and led Shell’s International business, spearheading their social media and content marketing moves.
Analytic Partners appoints Gallagher
Measurement and optimisation solutions company, Analytic Partners has announced the appointment of Andy Gallagher as Vice President of Client Engagement.
Gallagher has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and digital measurement. He spent the last seven years leading a Media & Analytics Measurement Consultancy for Kantar in various locations including London, San Francisco, and New York. Prior to this, he spent eight years at media conglomerate NBC Universal in New York overseeing research and analytics in the News & Sports division.
CreatorIQ hires Chief Customer Officer
Influencer marketing platform, CreatorIQ today announced that industry veteran Max Powers will join the team as Chief Customer Officer.
With 20+ years of experience, Max Powers will continue building out the Customer Experience organization as CreatorIQ onboards and expands its portfolio of brand and agency clients around the globe. Most recently, Powers served as the SVP, Business Operations at TeleSign, a $100M digital identity company, where she was responsible for building and scaling the customer experience organization and end to end post sales customer journey.
Prior to that, Powers was General Manager at Vantage Media, an ad technology company, where she ran the Education division of the business, as well as building the company-wide Customer Success organisation.
Juice Media LLC appoints Lyons
Emerging global marketing service, Juice Media LLC has announced the appointment of Michael Lyons as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director.
In his new role, Lyons will oversee all activation and investment efforts across TNH’s clientele while leading TNH’s investment arm – Juice Media LLC. Lyons will report to Greg Castronuovo, Chief Operating Officer at TNH.
Prior to joining Juice Media LLC, Lyons worked at Casual Precision where he partnered with TWO NIL LLC to activate clients across OTT/CTV opportunities. In 2014, Lyons co-founded Bliss Point Media where he operated as the Chief Media Officer. Lyons has also spent time leading the advanced TV and streaming sales efforts for companies such as AOL, Adapt.tv and A&E Networks.
Jumio announces Chief Marketing Officer
AI-powered end-to-end identity verification and eKYC solutions provider, Jumio has announced the addition of Anna Convery as Chief Marketing Officer.
Convery joins Jumio from Radware, a leading cybersecurity provider, where she held the global position of chief marketing officer for nearly five years. In this role she was responsible for the marketing strategy that shaped the future of the Radware brand while directly increasing the marketing contribution to drive revenue and increase market share.
Prior to Radware, Convery held marketing, sales and product management roles at OpenSpan and NICE Systems Ltd.
